何为阿斯汤伽?About Ashtanga Yoga阿斯汤伽瑜伽是古老的瑜伽体系,最早由Vamana Rishi记载在YogaKorunta里面,这本典籍在19世纪初由上师Rama Mohan Brahmachari传给SriT. Krishnamacharya,之后又由Krishnamacharya传给Sri K. Pattabhi Jois(1915-2009),他在印度Mysore城创办了阿斯汤伽瑜伽学院(KPJAYI)

Ashtanga Yoga is an ancient system of yoga that was taught by Vamana Rishi in the Yoga Korunta. This text was imparted to Sri T. Ashtanga is a daily method of yoga involving synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures. This process produces intense internal heat and a purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. Mysore is a city in India where the Ashtanga Yoga Institute was established, so the traditional Ashtanga teaching model is called "Mysore" - the self practice under the guidance of the Ashtanga teacher. The same series of asanas (poses) are practiced each day. New poses are introducedby the teacher once the student memorizes and becomes proficient in the previous asanas in the sequence. People of all ages and health condition can practice Ashtanga. A student works with the teacher to advance at their own rate so all levels are welcome.因为记忆和掌握不同的串联体式(Vinyasa)并不容易,每周日会有集体口令课练习,老师会喊出每一个Vinyasa和计数,所有学生根据自己的情况跟随口令一起练习

传统的习练要尽量避免在习练过程中饮水;生理期女性要避免习练;通常要在习练前洗澡、沐浴,清除掉不雅的汗味

少量的香水、油和其他气味,也会在习练过程中随着身体发热而被放大,尽管是非常温和的气味产品,也会对其他习练者产生不必要的冒犯

一些身体润肤膏的使用,会让你的皮肤变得非常滑,会在被辅助时带来不便

请保持停留在你自己的垫子上,尽量避免去帮助其他习练者,也要避免在教室中聊天交谈

习练阿斯汤伽体式时建议最好赤足进行,以防止在瑜伽垫上滑倒

在休息体式中如果需要的话可以穿袜子

如果有任何伤口、手术经历、怀孕等诸如此类的身体问题一定要提前告诉老师

请不要擅自添加任何新的体式动作,除非老师给你新的指示;如果你想尝试新的体式,我们会看到,不需要询问,老师会在认为你已经准备好的时候,把新的体式教给你

请严格遵循阿斯汤伽的传统序列和动态体式,不要无理由跳过任何动作

Mysore习练是最传统的阿斯汤伽习练方式,所以请尽量避免修改和使用辅具,包括避免偏离序列

Mysore Practice Guides Practice is begun with the stomach empty of food.- Do not eat a meal for 2-3 hours before attending class.- Try not to eat or drink for 20-40 minutes after class.It is traditional to refrain from drinking water during your practice.Women should refrain from practice during the menstrual cycle.It is traditional to shower orbath before practicing. Clean sweat does not have a pungent odor.- Minimize perfumes, oils, and other scents. These are amplified through the heating practice of Ashtanga. Even mildly scented products can be offensive to other practitioners.- The use of body moisturizer can make your skin very slippery and may turn out to be an inconvenience when being assisted.Please stay on your own mat and refrain from assisting other practitioners. Try to avoid talking to others in the room.It is preferable to practice asanas ( postures) in bare feet to avoid slipping on the mat. Socks can be worn during resting posture if required.Please inform the teacher of any injuries, operations, pregnancy or such-like.Physical adjustments take place during Mysore practice. If you wish not be adjusted inform the teacher, we will respect your wishes and will not ask you to explain your reasons.Do not add new asanas unless they are given by your teacher. If you are looking for a new posture, we know. Don’t ask. It will be given when we feel you are ready. It’s not just about the asana.Stick to the traditional sequence and vinyasa.
